Beginner Combo: 7 - 9 Years old

This Beginner Combo Class is hosted once a week in an hour and a half time-slot. This combo hosts styles such as Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. Further, dancers expand upon the foundations of Ballet, Tap, and Jazz while creating a more distinct understanding of each style. This class allows children to not only progress a more exact understanding of an art form, but encourages them to build social connections in the classroom as well. Dancers enrolled in this class will perform in 3 routines in the Annual Recital.

Acro

Hip Hop/Acro

Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements and floor tumbling. It is defined by its athletic character and unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics together into a thrilling performance. Dancers will perform a routine in a separate acro show at the studio.

Hip Hop/Acro

In this High-Energy Class, dancers are introduced to the exciting world of Hip Hop Dance. They will also explore the fundamentals of Acrobatics which will build and improve strength, flexibility, and early foundations of discipline in an art form. This class is 45 minutes.

Dancers will perform ONE routine in the Annual Recital.

Musical Theatre

Contemporary/Lyrical

The Musical Theater style provides a more theatrical form of dance to performances. It typically merges dance styles such as Jazz and Hip hop all while pairing it with distinctive acting techniques. This class includes songs from popular Broadway Performances and even caters to soundtracks heard from the Big Screen. Dancers will Perform in one dance in the Annual Recital.

Contemporary/Lyrical

The Contemporary style is a mesh of many styles and techniques of dance. It can be technical like Ballet and Modern, emotional like Lyrical, and incorporate grooves like Hiphop. This is the perfect class to build and refine movement quality in an artistic and creative outlet. Dancers will perform one routine in the Annual Recital.

Lyrical is a fusion of Ballet and Jazz Techniques. It captures lyrics in music and puts them into refined emotional movements. Lyrical inspires creativity and important social connections between audience and performer. Dancers will perform one routine in the Annual Recital.

Dancers will perform ONE routine in the recital.
